Sails & Spirits: A Hebridean Odyssey

A 7-Day Curated Expedition with Skipper Amy Graydon

‍ ‍Join us for an immersive voyage through the rugged heart of the Inner Hebrides. This isn't a fixed-route cruise; it’s a high-end "Seafood & Spirits" expedition designed for those who appreciate world-class single malts and the raw beauty of the Scottish coast.

Meet Your Skipper:

Your journey is led by Amy Graydon, an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor whose life has been defined by the water. From her first tack in a dinghy off the coast of Greece to navigating the Panama Canal and exploring the remote North Pacific, Amy has commanded everything from nimble racers to 70ft ocean-goers. Having led expeditions to the legendary St. Kilda and trained crews for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, Amy brings a rare blend of high-level technical sailing with a warm West Coast hospitality. As both your Skipper and Host, Amy provides a seamless experience—sharing her secret anchorages by day and pairing the evening’s meals with the perfect local dram by night.

The "Rough" Itinerary (Weather Permitting)

In the Hebrides, the wind is our master. We keep our schedule flexible to ensure we find the best sailing conditions and the most sheltered anchorages. Our general aim includes:

Tobermory & Morvern:

Sourcing world-class, locally sourced food before heading to the organic, forward-thinking Nc’Nean Distillery.

The Atlantic Frontier:

Aiming for Tiree for white sand beaches, island-grown spirits, and local brewery vibes—weather and swell allowing.

South Mull & Staffa:

A stop to witness the basalt columns of Fingal's Cave before finding a quiet anchorage for a game or seafood dinner.

The Islay Deep Dive:

Two days centred around Port Ellen, walking the "Three Distilleries Path" (Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Ardbeg) with options for bespoke tours at Bruichladdich or Kilchoman.

Wild Jura & Gigha:

A warehouse tasting at Jura followed by a potential loop around Gigha for a legendary seafood lunch. The Oban Finish: Returning for a final dram at the historic Oban Distillery and a visit to the famous Seafood Shack.

A Note on the Elements:

The West Coast is spectacular because of its wildness. To ensure your safety and comfort, this itinerary is fluid. With a Yachtmaster Instructor at the helm, a shift in the wind isn't a setback—it’s an opportunity to discover a hidden sea-loch or a distillery off the beaten path.
